Thank you Sally! These recipes are perfect for Mothers day! I am looking forward to baking a lot this weekend.
I started making my own mother’s day brunch when I had my children. Mother’s day was one of those restaurant days where the crowds and wait times were large and long, and my kids were antsy…so, I started a new tradition that I actually enjoyed much more. We didn’t have to go out, the food was great, and the atmosphere much more relaxing. I have a favorite menu that I may switch up this year since everything else is different. My kids have long since grown up and moved away, but I continued my celebration at home. Thank you for all your wonderful choices and the most difficult will be deciding on which ones to make. Thank you for your wonderful recipes and blog, and congratulations for your new little one on the way and for your sweet little girl you already have. I wish you a most enjoyable and yummy mother’s day and stay well.
Thank you so much for reminding me about the Raspberry Crumb Cake one of my Mom’s favorites of your recipes. I am going to do a porch delivery Sunday morning for my 88 year old Mom.
Happy Mother’s Day! I want to try those mini cheesecakes!
Happy Mother’s Day to you all…My Mom has passed and I miss her so much every single day. I grew up in the 1950’s and she had dinner on the table every day at 5pm when we all sat at the kitchen table and ate together. My daddy always wanted something sweet after dinner so she always had a cake or pie for us. One of my favorites was her Pineapple Upside Down CAke that she made in her cast iron skillet. If your mother is still with you, appreciate the time you have with her and when you can hug her…DO IT!!! Blessings…
Great selections here, thanks Sally! They all look delicious, but I think I’m going to try your mini galettes for Mother’s Day; then I can enter the baking challenge, too 🙂
Happy Mother’s Day to you, Sally!! Thank you so much for sharing you light…and your recipes…with us all!

Hi Sally! I would love to make my mom something but the only problem is, is that she is on Keto! but these are great recipes I gave these to my friend for her mom and she loved them! Thank you!
Hi Sally! I bought a trifle bowl last fall and have been wanting to use it for spring/summer desserts. Your lemon berry trifle looks luscious & am looking forward to making it sometime in the future, but right now I have no lemons or fresh berries. Due to quarantine, I don’t feel like running out just to get them. Do you have any other suggestions on any other trifle I can make for Mother’s Day tomorrow? TIA & hope your Mother’s Day finds you & your family happy & healthy!
Hi Bella, you can always do a regular pound cake or homemade brownie trifle with whipped cream and/or pudding and whatever fruit you have/enjoy. Thank you for the kind wishes!
Happy Mother’s Day Sally!
Happy Mother’s Day to all! Just my wife and me this AM took it easy with a special French Toast recipe. And my daughter is coming over just making the awesome brownies today.
